On July 9th, CECDADI is invited to the Signing Ceremony of MoU between Tsinghua and University of Queensland & Joint Water Research Initial Workshop. Mr.Lin Sijie, who is the research assistant from R&D department of CECDADI, participated this seminar, and he makes a presentation about Overview of Site Remediation in China: Policies, Technologies and Practices to the experts.
Based on the experiments of CECDADI, Mr.Lin takes a briefly summary about the history of industrial site remediation and related technology applications in China from 2004. He also presents a series of macro-policies, laws and regulations in China. As what he says, comparing to the policies, laws and regulations in U.S, the remediation site industry has several challenges in China, such as lacks of detail regulations and standards, shortage of experts and equipment, and the strictly time and cost control.
Mr.Lin also introduces the engineering cases, framework and history of CECDADI to all participants, especially the two projects which are running in Beijing and Hebei Province. He also communicates deeply with experts about the issues of mine tailings remediation.
Besides, CECDADI will be one of the two partners from industry to take widely cooperation with the Joint Research Centre of Tsinghua and University of Queensland.
