On December 25, 2012, CECDADI Environmental Remediation Co., Ltd. was founded after merging with 10-year old Hangzhou DADI Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group.

On May 17, 2013, two research projects named “Study on Groundwater Pollution Monitoring Early Warning and Emergency Response System” and “Industrial Sites Screening and Potential Contaminated Sites Inventory Management Technology Studies” have been approved to be State Environmental Protection Commonweal special industry Research in 2014.

On June 7, 2013, the State Environmental Protection Engineering Center for Industrial Contaminated Sites and Groundwater Remediation passed the feasibility study. The Center was announced to be feasible by the expert panel from the MEP and its establishment began afterwards.
