The Center is active in participating in drafting laws, regulations and standards in the field of industrial contaminated sites (soil and groundwater) remediation in China. In the meantime, technical guidelines and standards specific to the contaminated sites from different industries and phases are studied based on the former and ongoing demonstration project in China, and the contaminated site remediation technologies and management experience abroad.
